The center command switch is identical to the one currently being used in the new Mazda 6. its very effeicient and ergonomic.I looked at this interior last night and again tonight and I'm just not a fan. Everything looks completely odd, from the goofy asymmetrical armrest to the in-line cup holders (I know, my 2008 has them too and I'm not a fan of them either), to the single large gauge in the center of the instrument cluster that houses a speedometer rather than a tach....just all sorts of touches with no real purpose that I can see other than to re-arrange things for the sake of re-arranging. Even the e-brake is on opposite side. The one thing I'm intrigued by is the dial/knob on the center console. Looks similar to what we might see in a BMW or Audi, so I'm curious about it's functionality. It could be really cool or really lame depending on the execution by Mazda.
