rotors?

Its time for a brake job. What's everyone running for rotors and pads? My old neons I used to use hawk to rotors and gt pads. They did the job well but those pads were hella loud because they were so hard.

Centric Rotors from Tire Rack and Hawk HPS pads. I dig em. Left front is pretty squealy, but not terrible.

Centric rotors are pretty decent for the money. Pads depends on what you're needs/wants are. Long life, quiet, low dust, track/hpde needs, etc. Hawk, EBC, Carbotech are the 3 'performance' pads I normally look to, but there are others that fit other needs as well.

My Cobalt has PowerSlot rotors and Hawk Ceramic pads. I'd like to try the HPS and also EBC's GreenStuff pads next time around.

Thirded on Centric rotors. They are great quality for the money.

But yeah, pads really come down to your priorities as far as lifetime, stopping power, bite, dust, etc.
