2008 Dodge Challeger SRT8 - R&T Review

I must be one of the old dude's this car is being built for.

'08 models are all SRT-8 5speed auto-stick automatics. Dodge's dual clutch plant isn't built yet so don't count on seeing one of those for a while.

The '08 VINs are being built 4/14-4/21 and should be on the road by early May for some dealers. The '09s with the new Tremec 6-speed manual will be built starting in August.

Whenever they come out w/a triple black Hemi convertible with the manual color me sold!

I've never been a horsepower junkie. I would rather have something smaller, trimmer, and more maneuverable... and since it would need to serve as my primary car as well, more practical.

Yeah, if you need room no 2 door is going to be big enough for you.

The Challenger is built on a shortened Charger/300 (pretty large car) platform and has a TON more room in the back seat than the Mustang or the new Camaro though, which are its main competition.
