Elm Creek Mountain Bike Trail in Maple Grove, is a finalist for a $100,000 grant from Bell Helmets to build a Pump Track/Bike Park. This would be built
on the 1.4 acre parcel of land that is across the parking lot from the existing mtn bike singletrack trailhead.
This brings a huge spotlight on mountain biking in MN and our main competition is Steamboat Springs, CO. Elm Creek is only ahead by 1% and voting
ends this Friday, April 12th.
We can't let Colorado take this from us.

It is extremely important to the future of mountain biking in MN. This grant will help open the doors to more dedicated riding areas in the state. :)

Please also help out our Midwest partners by voting for them too.
Flow Trail- Hobbs Hollow, IN
DH- Copper Harbor, MI

Even if you don't mountain bike, please vote. It will only take you a couple minutes.
Here is a video that quickly explains the voting process: HOW TO VOTE

Thanks to all of you that took the time to vote to help EC! Ironically, the voting ended in a tie with Steamboat (percentages). Some of us feel that Bell was just using it all as a marketing ploy so we think the voting won't carry as much weight in the final decision. If Bell is smart, they will choose Elm Creek for the grant. I believe they are announcing the winners in about a week.
