Well guys, I'm almost done with my car so I figured I'd post some pictures. I posted basically this same thread over on MNSC but I figured you might like to see it. It's been a long, expensive process but there's light at the end of the tunnel. I've built the car 100% myself with the welding being done by a (talented) friend. Going into this I'd never really built a car and am pretty much learning everything as I go. There's been a lot of ups and downs and a few points where I wanted to say "fuck it" altogether, but I finally pulled through. I'm expecting to have the car running by early next week and tuned the week after. I'm expecting 6-700RWHP at 15PSI and high 9's in the quarter. Full weight should be 2,700LBs. Words cannot describe properly how much awesome I see sitting right there. That thing is PHENOMENAL. Can't wait to see it in person.
Glad to see this finally coming together (and you posting it over here too). I assume Carl's tuning it?
Well here's where it's at now. It's pretty much done, just need to finish the interior and then it needs to be tuned. I never did get around to finishing it this summer - just too much going on in my life. First start up: http://youtu.be/hko9WXcErsA Exhaust video: http://youtu.be/na51wiBA2jM
