Lowered the price from $250 to $200.
Anyone at all interested in a nice single sub setup?
I have a Boston Acoustics G510-4 (was a G510-44 DVC...put a new cone/voice coil in). This sub is rated to take 450w RMS and I've seen them take over 600w. I wouldn't push it much past that to be safe though. My amp is 460w, but with the gain turned down, it's probably pushing 325-375w right now.
I picked up a box (sold by Best Buy on their website). It's a Fierce Audio 10" 0.70 cu ft box. Comes as a flat pack and you put it together. I did a pretty good job of sealing all the seams.
I have a Kenwood KAC-929 2-channel amp that puts out 460 watts RMS bridged at 4ohms. This thing is a monster for a 2-channel amp. I have it around 2/3 to 3/4 gain, no need for more for me. Also have a 1/2 Farad Rockford Fosgate capacitor that I got with the amp. I've never used a capacitor with any system I've used. The cap comes with 4-gauge wiring.
I'm running the amp on 8 gauge power and ground and it works fine, but it's recommended to use 4 gauge. The wiring I have for the capacitor is 4-gauge, but like I said, I have never used one. I got it with the amp when I bought it because the person wanted to get rid of it all together.
I guess I'm looking to get around $200 (have it listed on CL for $250). Willing to negotiate a little, but not much since I have it cheaper here all ready. Also looking for partial or full trades...let me know what you have. In terms of trades...I'm open to whatever, but would definitely be interested in a 7" tablet (Nook/Kindle would be preferred).
Separately I have Coustic 400S 2-channel amp that will do 50w x 2 @ 4ohms, 100w x 2 @ 2ohms, and bridged 4ohms 200w. I'd let that go for $40 or best offer.

I've put a decent amount of time and money into putting this together. The G5 subs and recones are now discontinued and I had a hell of a time finding the recones. I've been sitting on the sub for a while hoping to find one recone and got lucky with two.
