I replaced some wiring the basement of my house. This is in a utility room and will never nor should it ever have a finished ceiling.

I had romex all over the place and lights and plugs on the same circuit. So I ran 12awg wire to the lights (i had the wire already that is why it isn't 14awg). Then I ran 12 awg to the receptacles too. The hard part was the switch for the lights was on the far end of the chain so wiring was not as easy as i would have liked.

Here is the 3/4in emt coming from the panel to the j box.

Here is the first j box where I split the lights and plug circuits apart.

Here is the plug circiut jumping over the water pipes.

Then to this small j box and out to the 2 plugs.
one is by the wash sink and the other is used for my second refrigerator and freezer.

the pipe never touches any of the duct work nor does it touch and copper water lines.
