I am still not sold on the looks, but if the performance lives up the hype it should be good.

From what I'm reading in the reviews, it's comparable to a G37 for mustang money. And that's exactly what I'm looking for.

I was excited to hear about the R-Spec, but I'm totally over it after seeing a picture.

LOL... The R-Spec seems reasonable though... It gives you the performance oriented stuff of the Track version with some of the frills.

You are crazy if you think its priced out of the market people.

What is your other option for a turbo 4 rwd?

100k warranty (carefull about mods...)

I think it's priced juuuuust right. Take a few grand off if they aren't selling out and you get an R spec for around $20k.

I personally don't find it that good looking in the pics, the 350Z is a close competitor if a little more spendy, and I f'ing HATE 19 inch rims (just give me some wide 17's thank you). But even after all that it's priced right.

What were you expecting $19,900? it's 2009 folks.

Out of the market? Seems like reasonable pricing to me at a glance...

My only issue would be the grand touring and track models will be including navigation versus optioning it out separately. Well, and that they won't put the manual in the sedan.

I think the price is fairly attractive.
The fact that it still looks like a hyundai, not so much.

**EDIT**

It does look a lot better from this angle.

The pricing on the V6 is pretty good and met the expections they started about a year ago. The pricing on the 2.0T is about $2k more than expected. I'd probably just get a V6 now if I were to get one...

oh, joo wanted pics??

Side, front, back. I'd hit it! :Banane56:

If I was modding it. (duh) I'd get the 4 banger. If I just was rippin' it stock, the v6 sounds good.

I'm interested to see where this car goes in a few years since I'm not exactly in the market for a rwd coupe any time in the next...5 years or so probly.

(continued rant...grrr...19's on a $20k car is sooo dumb. I wonder how many poor young kids are going to pawn everything they own to pay for replacement rear tires?)

Funny that all the posted pics are of modded ones... aftermarket wheels, drops, aero kits... Stock it looks like poo.

Show me a car that can't me made to look good with $6k in visual mods and maybe I'll admit that I like it... lol

Hell, Kia had that Spectra5 at the auto show that was looking pretty sick with the same level of modding those cars have. Go figure.

is the word, beotch
lol....a big +1 Jay! I was totally looking through the pics and thinking the same thing....."coilovers, coilovers, expensive wheel/tire combo, tint, etc" and in the last pic with the 2 cars back-to-back....what the hell is up with the HUGE gap between the front and back of the tire and the lower line of the body, especially in the car on the right? I love the first pic because it doesn't look so old-Tiburon-ish, but that's the first halfway cool pic I've seen of the car. I guess I'll withhold final judgement until I see/drive it in person. For now, I'm still not convinced that this would be the car for me.

Picklz

SUDO Make me a SAMCH
I want to see one of these in person and take it for a drive, but I don't think it would really fit in with what I want. I think it picked a good spot in the market to try and fill, there really aren't many (any?) other RWD coupes out there that can be had for around 20-25k.

Also:
Wheels - $1200
Tint - $200
Springs - $250

$1650 ... I'd hardly consider that $6,000 in mods. If you can afford a 25k car I have to think you'd be able to afford a few hundred in tires once in a while and a couple grand in mods.
