SUDO Make me a SAMCH
Alright so I pulled the trigger on an i7 system earlier today, so this is back up for sale - for real this time lol. I'll get all the exact part #'s up as time goes on.
Pic (more at the bottom):
Specs:
Mobo
DFI LanParty Mobo (LP UT P35 T2R - P35 Chipset, LGA 775, Has SATA, SATA RAID, USB2, Firewire, nice onboard sound, PCI-E, etc. More OC and Tweaking options than I know what to do with lol
CPU
Core2Quad Q6600 Kentsfield Quad Core @ 2.4ghz (this is the G0 stepping so will likely OC to 3ghz+ but I haven't messed with it)
Graphics
nVidia 8800GT w/ custom full-cover nickel plated water block
Memory
4GB Ballistics Tracer DDR2 Memory - has LED activity lights
Case
Lian Li PC-V1200B Plus II Black Tower Case - This is a reverse ATX design so the case opens from the right instead of the left, MObo is 'upside down' and the PSU is at the bottom. Provides for better cooling. Has been customized with four 120mm fans at the top mounted to two Black Ice radiators for the water cooling, more details on all that in the cooling section. Case alone was over $200 new in stock form. Aluminum construction, very noice.
Hard Drive and PSU are not included
I'm keeping the SSD's and the Power Supply for my new build. I can provide a hard drive (something over 200 gigs) for $25, will come with Linux or no OS, if you have an OS already I can install it free of charge. Same goes for PSU if you find one you want I can order it from wherever, install it, and add it to the price (no fee to install).
Cooling:
This case has a custom dual loop water cooling system in it. The CPU is cooled with a D-TEK FuZion water block w/ quad core nozzle kit, 1/2" barbs. The Video card has a custom EK full cover nickel plated water block. Those both connect to Back Ice GT Stealth 240 radiators (blue) and then to EK reseviors filled with UV reactive dye. Two Swiftech 12v pumps drive the two loops. This provides for great cooling and should allow for great overclocking as well. Has two fill ports on the top of the case that allow for adding fluid to the system (rarely has to be done).
Also has a Lightscribe DVD/Burner installed, I had a second video card in it to run a third monitor, if you need that I can leave it installed.
Note this System played MW2 with Max settings @ 1920x1200 without any issues, starcraft 2 was the 'newest' game I've played and on high settings it ran smootly.
Would like to get $550, may consider trades or partial trades, though not sure what for hehe. Feel free to toss me an offer.
