The Cottage Grove Bike Park (and the Minnesota Off Road Cyclists) need your support! We are building a bike park in Cottage Grove, and the park is currently a finalist for a $33,000 grant from Bell Helmets. The project is up against 3 other ones in the central region, and the winner will be decided by popular vote. If you would take the time to vote(only a couple minutes), that would be greatly appreciated! You do not need to be a mountain biker(or even from MN) to support the project. Just think of it as supporting the entire local cycling community. Please share this with as many people as you can. Voting ends at midnight on Sunday, May 4th.

    Thanks for your help!

FYI- You can vote with as many email addresses as you have!

    STEP 1:
    Go to
    STEP 2:
    Select Cottage Grove Bike Park
    STEP 3:
Enter the info required to make your vote official.
    STEP 4:
    Remember to confirm your vote!
You will receive a confirmation email from Bell that
will contain a confirmation link. You must click
the link to make your vote count!

This is a really cool project and our main competition is a bike park in Chicago. Please take 2 minutes and help support a MN local project. Thanks!

Final results are currently being tallied by Bell. They said that we should know the winner some time this afternoon. Thanks for your support!

The competition was extremely close for the entire 2 weeks but we ended up beating out Chicago by over 900 votes in the end! Thanks for your support.

Is this right behind the Cottage View Drive-in? If so I used to ride that dirt park all the time when I was an early teen. So many memories.

No, this bike park is located in West Draw Park, just off 70th and Hwy 61. It's up over the hill from Hwy 61. You should definitely go check it out sometime!
