Well, I can assure you guys my absence was not intended as a maneuver or ploy to draw out posts or behaviors. Just been a pretty busy start to the work week. HOWEVER.... Tom, I am not taking your vote against me personally as I can certainly understand wanting to draw me back into the game...
Planning to pull the intake mani this weekend and replace the rear MM with a cheap-o stock replacement filled with Windo-Weld for the time being. Ghetto I know, but the AWR race bushings just transmit too much NVH into the cabin for the car to be enjoyable as a daily driver. Will also take a...
I have read through it once, and at first blush, I agree with you that it's just as likely that AJ's vote was pulled to prevent an early lynch as it was to prevent the lynch of a scum partner. But some of AJ's posts have been a bit rambling and hard for me to decipher. I have been behind on my...
Sucky = less than I was hoping for, but probably still fine. I'm still playing around with a few things and just dumped in a fill of PP 10W-30 last night to replace the cheap oil I used on the first startup, but I seem to have at or near the "standard" 10psi/krpm, but I haven't really gotten on...
Well, as you said, Tom was definitely bringing the heat on both JT and Eddy, and has made no effort to hide it. But then we're in the territory of "If I was scum, would I really act that scummy??"
Nate, why the lack of activity on the last day? Why no vote? How do you know why they took out Eddy? He rallied a vote against Josh (who turned out to be town), and had both Tom and I breathing down his neck like crazy, just waiting for him to slip up.
Here is what is perplexing me: So...
If your suspicion is that Josh and Eddy are scum, and what they want is for Josh to get lynched... why the heck would you not pull the trigger? Do you think we would be worse off with 2 scum who are alive but scummy looking, than with 1 dead scum and 1 scum who appears clean?
If you think...
Sorry, but I see nothing here that makes me change my mind. Basically, it reads as "if you can find someone else to lynch besides me, then I'll unvote as soon as the pressure is off."
Here's another aspect to Josh's vote.... I'm starting to see it as a bluff plain and simple. He says "Here, I'm voting for myself. Now if someone else comes along and places the deciding vote, that person must be scum". What better way to insulate yourself from getting axed than to put say...
While I find the first scenario plausible, I don't buy the second one at all. It's one thing for scum to off one of their own to come out looking squeaky-ass clean. But it's another for that plan to start to falter and have the second scum VOTE FOR HIMSELF to carry out the plan. As soon as we...
Josh, the part I still do not follow is that all of your scenarios rely on you being Town. If you are scum, I fail to see how any of that becomes relevant.
If Josh is scum, then he is either going to get lynched, or else the person who unvotes for him the quickest will be perceived as Town. The only way this makes sense from the Josh-scum theory is that the person who unvotes first is actually scum, and this is all a calculated risk.
Agreed. If you're town, then you're basically guaranteeing 2 more town deaths today. If you're scum.... I don't even know what to think. Hail Mary play?
You're completely missing the point Eddy. Tom is calling into question your push to arrive a de facto lynch vote 24 hours ahead of the deadline. Stop with the strawman argument that he is still currently pushing to delay the vote right now.
I still don't agree that means Tom's vote should be disregarded. If scum does a good job of leading the discussion and is the most vocal in their "investigation" it's very likely that some more passive Town would fall in line behind them. The majority vote means one thing as far as I'm...
