Dan, can you make a thread & sticky it for this section listing who the mods are for Morrie's so we know. It's hard to remember based on screen names alone.

I didn't purchase my car from there, but I did go there for an oil change and some warranty work. Didn't have the best experience there, probably won't be going back. :/ I won't post why unless one of the Morrie's guys ask me to.

I always want feedback from customers, good and bad. We may not know what we did wrong and we would love the opportunity to rectify problems. Of course constructive feedback is more useful to us in identifying concerns so hopefully we can keep it on the positive side.

I was in the market for the ms3 back in February and had called around to all dealers to see who could get me the best deal. Morries is no where near where my parents live, but the sales person was nice and said they'd beat any price. I got really excited and went to go check out the car at Morries, even though it would be a week before I would purchase it. The sales person was nice, went for a test drive, all was good..... then I was pressured into buying it that nice, I was then to talk about price. I told them what Luther offered and they talked to the manager and said that if they got any cheaper they would be making like $20-40 on the car. I felt sorta bad but hey I have to look out for myself right? Well they go talk again and ask if I will pay MORE than the offer so they could make a little more and promised better service than luther, saying they were a poor dealer. I believing this, made a offer just slightly more so it was still a okay deal. Then they came back and claimed opps I guess we are making more than we thought. So I was kinda put off by that.. then the finance guy came out and was a total asshole about me not buying the car that night and wanted a down payment. I politely said no, but he kept hounding me very aggressively and making me mad almost. This totally put me off, I ended up purchasing the car closer to the parents house, but paid slightly more but have been happy.

I went in for an oil change and to have them look at some problems I was having with my car. This bulletin pretty much sums up my problems: (01-022/08) I mentioned this bulletin to them for reference that it might be that when I made the appointment.

I arrive and pull into the service bay. Two service gentleman came over, said hello. I explained that I was there for an appointment. They pulled my information on why I was there then proceded to open my hood and look for what modification I have on my car. I assume that's what they were doing because then they procede to lecture me (that's how I felt.) that my cold air intake could void my warranty. I have the Mazdaspeed CAI because I did not want to have problems with my warranty, which I explained to them. They said since you do have the Mazdaspeed version it's fine.

So why after only saying hello, they go straight to looking under my hood for my modifications, then lecture me on how my warranty might be voided then say my warranty is fine? It was my only power modification, the rest are just visual.

When I went to retreive my car they stated that they flashed the ecu and found nothing wrong, then said that because of the CAI it's normal. I'm pretty sure it's not normal. I think there were better ways to handle this, but I could be wrong.

After the flash the symptoms seem to have been resolved.

Any time I bring my car in for any service they pop the hood and check/top off my wiper fluid and check other fluids while they are there. Maybe that's what they were doing when they saw your CAI.

They topped off my wiper fluid but it looked like they were looking for something that wasn't my fluids.

Nope...they don't offer those services.
MAP (who's also a sponsor here), will tune your car if you provide them with the hardware. They seem to like tuning the CP-e standback, but have no experience with the AP (I guess they just sell them).
